This is the only NI Forest School qualification and was developed by NIFSA in partnership with the Open College Network NI. This is the lead qualification teachers etc. would be expected to have before starting a Forest School programme. NIFSA have been training and accrediting teachers and other educational experts since 2008. We have over 150 qualified Forest Schools and 350 accredited Forest School Leaders.

The package includes installation of seating in your Forest School setting. The seating is made from decking and hammered into the ground. Can only be installed in soil and there needs to be a good depth of soil to make sure seating is stable. It also includes a trip for your class to Clandeboye Nature Rangers. The only permanent Forest School in Northern Ireland. Experienced Nature Rangers staff will provide a fun packed morning to give you lots of ideas for your own Forest School.
