Welcomed group to Dungannon Park for their Forest School session.
Started of with a talk about trees and how they grow from a seed. We identified the parts of a tree. This led to a discussion on what animals live in a tree.
The group were shown a selection of birds nests and wasp nests.
The children were then tasked to make their own nests using items found on the ground as birds would have done. When finished they were given the opportunity to talk about their nests.
To finish up we made a den together as a group.
